After an entire week of hunting, digging, exploring, escavating & general detective work, the offensive dead rat has been found! YEAH! And althought I didnt get to see the vile creature the description of it has left me with an image of an "R.O.U.S." (rats of unusual size....Princess Bride).

I was told that it was huge & would not have decomposed as quickly or as gracefully as the "nay-sayers" said it probably would... the nay sayers being those who didnt want to DO the work but would have rather had nature take its course. So with the gnarly thing out of my ceiling (along with all the insulation) we hope the odor will improve. If not, H.A.S.M.A.T. will be called in! Someone suggested we just light a match to it & start over...not funny.
