Called to Serve!



in case you missed the where part.... Tanner is going to the Honduras, San Pedro Sula Mission! He leaves August 5th!!!

I'm in awe mode right now bordering on panic & exhileration all at the same time. If I could share the entirety of his patriarchal blessing it would make total sense as to "why" he's going to one of the poorest places on the earth. But I'm still trying to process all this myself! The video is priceless & it truly captures Tanner's excitement....not to mention Derrick's exurberance!!

We are so very proud of our Tanner!


He waited just long enough to have all our children there before the "opening"! Very sweet...

We are SO excited for 'Elder Hodson' and your family. It is a sweet experience to have a missionary serving the Lord. You all look pretty excited....we sure love and appreciate ALL your family does for so many of us!

ok jan. so i started crying about the same time you did! that video is priceless. i have a nephew that served in san pedro sula. it is the more wealthy one, according to my son-in-law mike who went to tegucegalpa. tanner will be a wonderful missionary! i am so excited for him! just keep remembering the part in the call where he is promised more blessings than he has ever known before. it will be that way for you family as well! congratulations!!!

oh im so happy for him! and for all of your family! you all look so excited and i know he'll be a wonderful missionary! the people will love him and he will do amazing things! he just has that kind of personality... :) i miss you all!
